Mentha, également connue sous le nom de menthe, est un genre de plantes à fleurs de la famille des Lamiacées. On estime qu'il existe entre 13 et 24 espèces, mais la distinction exacte entre les espèces n'est pas claire. L'hybridation se produit naturellement là où les aires de répartition de certaines espèces se chevauchent. De nombreux hybrides et cultivars sont connus.
