Description
Carrot Nantes Half Long (Daucus carota subsp. sativus) is a renowned 19th-century French heirloom celebrated worldwide for its exceptional sweetness, fine grain, and tender, crisp texture. Producing uniform, cylindrical 6- to 7-inch roots with blunt, rounded tips, it features smooth, bright reddish-orange skin and virtually no core. Unmatched for raw snacking, juicing, cooking, and freezing, this classic variety performs reliably even in heavy or shallow soils where longer tapering carrots struggle.
