    Description

Dipper Gourd (Lagenaria siceraria) is a historic heirloom vine grown for its uniquely shaped, long-handled hard-shell fruits. Featuring bulbous bottoms and slender, elongated necks, these robust gourds were traditionally dried and crafted into water ladles, birdhouses, spoons, and ornamental containers. Vigorous climbing vines produce heavy yields of green gourds that dry to a durable, woody tan shell in the autumn.
