Description
Lamb's Lettuce (Valerianella locusta), also known as Corn Salad or Mâche, is a classic European heirloom salad green cherished by gourmet chefs for its velvety, spoon-shaped leaves and delicate, nutty flavor. Forming compact, dark green rosettes, it thrives in cold weather when other garden greens fade. Extremely cold-hardy, it provides fresh, tender greens throughout autumn, winter, and early spring, making it a prized staple for gourmet winter salads, delicate garnishes, and light dressings.
