Description
Lettuce Red Iceberg (Lactuca sativa) is a striking heirloom variety that combines the satisfying, succulent crunch of a classic iceberg with rich, eye-catching color. Producing medium-sized, moderately dense, crisp heads, it features deeply ruffled outer leaves tinged with reddish-purple margins wrapping around a sweet, blanched light-green interior. Naturally more bolt-resistant and flavorful than standard store-bought iceberg varieties, it adds exceptional crunch, color, and texture to fresh garden salads, wraps, and sandwiches.
