Description
Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) is a historic heirloom medicinal herb from the mint family, cherished for centuries in traditional herbalism. Producing erect, square stems clothed in deeply lobed, palm-like dark green leaves, it blooms throughout summer with dense whorls of delicate, fuzzy pink-to-lilac flowers. Highly valued by herbalists for brewing traditional teas and tinctures, this hardy perennial is also a magnet for honeybees, wild bumblebees, and beneficial garden pollinators.
